We strive for so many things- a great education, a great career, someone to love, be loved and happiness….what do we struggle for, on an everyday basis, to be able to feel happy?
I have been thinking about it. I have been thinking about what is it that I need to fix in my life so that I can give the right weight-age to different parts of my life.
I feel somewhere I have been messing up. Something somewhere is amiss and that is a feeling of lack of balance.
An Ideal life
An ideal life is one where we are able to make time for ourselves, for our loved ones, for work on a scale where we feel comfortable about it.
All of us may have our own definition of a balance depending on how much importance we accord to different parts of life. So it is on us to be able to create that balance, to be able to reach a point of mental and emotional equilibrium.
That state where you feel you are able to live a life free of guilt, that you lived your day well and were able to make time for things that matter, that is the real struggle of human life.

You may be reading this at work, at home, in college or wherever you are. There is something you are trying to do, and something in you led you to click on this article.
Since you are here, I want to exhort you to figure what that balance means for you, and then try and create your life around it.
Not anybody else’s definition of balance.
That’s what you are after.
Once you have created that balance, emotionally, proceed to feel happy with your life.
